Having an FAQ implies there is but one answer to a question. FAQ's work well when you go to a web site say to order something, and the FAQ explains payment methods, shipping, return policies, etc.

I think what you are trying to accomplish is already provided for on these forums.

It is the Search function that most people either don't know about, or don't like to take the time to read all the posts related to the asked subject.

If you type into the search box (top of each forum) {how much weight can I expect to lose on a water fast}, you will get all the posts related to fasting, water, weight, etc. However if you put quotation marks around your question, it will be related to the question. What comes up is a series of related posts. You then click on one with the question, and it will provide you with all the replies.

The upside of this is that you get to read everybody's opinion instead of just one, and make up your own mind as to what is the best. Nobody has all the right answers all the time, but rather one opinion. If the reader is serious about finding the correct answer, he will look to a few opinions anyway.

The downside to this approach is that there will be multiple posts related to the same topic, so you might have to read several to get your answer.

Another is that there are posts attributed to people, and they didn't write them. Curezone knows about this glitch.

The biggest downside is most people don't have the time to do a lot of searches, and that's why they post questions. If you have been coming here long enough, you will see questions that have been asked before.

The bottom line is they will also rather ask a question on the forum rather than go to the FAQ, and read through all the questions too.
