It's unfortunate that you're interpreting my responses as "rude." And, if they seem harsh, so be it. Sometimes, Life isn't sugar-coated, warm, fuzzy, or fluffy. And, what you're experiencing right now...this very minute...is a precursor to the disappointments and despairs that you will inevitably experience throughout your life. Now, you can either do one of two things: learn to accept another person's choices and realize that you are the only person that you can govern, or; continue expecting things to move the way that you wish them to and suffer a lifetime of misery. It's a choice, plain and simple.

You're feeling badly now, which I am not trying to minimalize, but this experience is a lesson in HOW to cope with loss. It will pass, and you will move on.
