I am Alex's wife. The pain we are going through with this illness is indescribable. He is still really ill from the colon cleanse - sweaty, headaches and severe weakness/fatigue. How long until this normally settles down (he is still pooing out green stuff). We have found a new dr to work with but cant see him for another month yet as he is on holidays. He is an intergrative dr who deals with all that seems to be wrong with Alex. I am teriffied of him detoxing again though due to the side effects. How do you know its a healing crisis and not just getting worse? He never gets worse then gets better, he always just gets worse then goes back to the normal level of illness.

Why do medical dr's all think this is psychological - I swear I am ready to go in with a gun and kill them all :)

Why is there so much conflicting information out there - it is so difficult trying to work out diet due to this. One person says eat brown rice one says only eat white rice then someone else says dont eat any rice!!!! How you are supposed to get well like this is beyond me! I think he probably has an underlying candida infection too even though it doesnt show up on stool tests.

Guess we'll keep plodding along........ think if it doesnt kill him it will probably kill me. Tweet
