Re: It takes one to know one!!

This is usually the first trick of the psychiatric counseling session, - to get you to believe that something IS wrong with you on some kind of a personality level.
In other words they try to get right to the core of you and have you buy into the fact that there is something very wrong at the core.
This is the first step, and from there they've got you.
Next step is drugs and the plan is to keep you as a patient for life.
Of course with no real light at the end of the tunnel.
I know, I've been there.
The only thing that freed me from it was when I figured out that there was actually not anything fundamentally wrong with me.
During those years in between my life was hell.
I believed that there was something wrong with me.
The only thing wrong with me back then was that I believed it.
When I figured out it was a lie, my world turned straight again.
Its very easy to believe these guys because we go to them as they are considered to be the experts and we believe that there will be some benefit from it and we want things to be better and we go along with it.
Its very key the real considerations we have about ourselves.
I believe I posted earlier that these are very powerful drugs and it is important to come off of them very gradually.
If not, there could be withdrawal symptoms.
Going cold turkey may not be so successful.
Slow and steady will get you there.
