Re: Question for any experienced UT people.
Thanks for the input Ladybloom!!
I am glad that the reverse logic I was about to superimpose was not valid - i.e that if it takes months to feel effects or benefits of an allopathic drug, it might therefore require months to clear your system of it.
I have been feeling frustrated by the lack of info around how long to be off meds.
My theory on why there is so little information on the specifics of this is that first, it would vary from person to person and also be dependant on the type of medication being taken and its properties.
Secondly I think that the books are careful not to appear too prescriptive or directive so that they can not potentially be held to account in a law suit or similar.
Today will be my third day without medication. So I will do some muscle testing around that today and tomorrow and potentially begin UT tomorrow.
While I am blocking the whole physical dynamic of what beginning UT will entail ( after the research phase, I have found just not thinking about things when the time comes for action and just doing it works for me! ) I am quietly optimistic and curious.
What hooked me onto the idea of UT is the fact that it has the essentially the same properties as amniotic fluid.
I have always been enchanted by the whole concept of amniotic fluid - how beautifully babies come out after spending all those months in it - that when you operate on a baby in utero there is no scarring etc.
I had had the thought in the past - what amazing stuff and what an amazing type of healing and nutrition. That just flipped my whole perception of urine completly around to a positive one.
Coupled with the fact that urine is sterile - I wanted to know more.
One of the reasons for my optimism is as follows.
I bruise like a proverbial peach and really badly and the bruises hang around for a month or longer. I can literally be bruised by a cushion. I big, black and purple bruise.
I heal very, very slowly - cuts, bruises, you name it and my body is on a go slow when it comes time to repair it.
On the thirty day lemonade fast that I did, I healed very quickly -within days.I also didn't get welts and raised bumps off mosquito bites. My skin which had permenant mottling from bruises and bites cleared quickly and stayed clear while fasting. I glowed.
Once I came off the fast, I was back where I was before the fast.
As I researched UT and read more and more about it - it became apparent that a very easy test of at least one of the claims was available to me. I had cut my finger two days earlier - a deep paper cut - enough for it to bleed and as usual the cut still looked pretty much the same as the day I did it two days later. Red, open soggy and as usual starting to look red and raised around the edges as it became slightly infected. It could stay like this for a week if not longer.
So I put a drop of urine on it each time I went to the toilet for a day.
On the second day I went to do this again and could not find the cut. I was looking for the red open thing that was there the day before. The cut was still there, but without any signs of redness at all. A day later, aside from the physical gap created by the cut itself it appeared completely healed.
My thought was - if I can put that type of healing where it is needed on the INSIDE of me - I want to give it a go.
So here I am.
Wish me luck!!
