Recourse
Hi Hostess:
I see... I thought this one was a new doc helping you out because you had mentioned male doctors before. I didn't realize that it was an ongoing situation. I've been in your situation and can completely relate; I've shed many tears too. Since she has been a bad doc from the start, then your doing the right thing by looking for someone else.
You do have recourse! :) Hospital Administration may or may not do anything, if it is a verbal complaint. You can report her to the local Medical Board, if she's done something serious (i.e., ignoring your symptoms and complaints with evidence). When you write the board, her ethics and licensing and practices are questioned; she is put into a position of responding to every point. If you take this route, make sure that you write-up a clear account with dates, what was said, etc. Many times when verbal complaints are made they are not taken very seriously. The fact that you brought in specimens and pics, this should be enough "proof" -- it use to be long time ago. Once something is written down, the hospital and the med board are forced to investigate the situation.
Good luck and keep up posted.
