Re: Rabbit Ears, 70428, Monique1, hostess

Hi:

"I don't understand if the CDC recognizes that parasites are a problem, and names how many of them affect humans, why the whole medical community wouldn't be taking them more seriously--and why they wouldn't be doing better training all the way around in finding them (labs) but better Dr's also thinking to look for them as causes for other illnesses."

Oh, the CDC does recognize the problem BUT not in America (or civilized worlds). Remember, parasite infections only happens to "those people" in distant lands or unhygienic poor people.

"But, it also seems like the pharma drugs have a worse tendency to cause the scattering/resistance problems?"

I'm not necessarily sure that is true. I did a random survey on the P Forum before the April crash a couple of years ago. It seems as though people were split 50/50 on the pharm/herbs intake and the scattering problem. I found this really interesting and hadn't expected the negative reaction about herbs because I didn't have this experience. While thinking upon this deeper, it occurred to me that the problem might have more to do with HOW broad spectrum compounds are made in relation to the parasites. For instances, is the compound balanced enough; what about sweetener to entice them to stay put; or, on the first several days of treatment, give them something weak to "get them use to the idea" to prevent scattering then whack them very hard later, etc.?

"And that's what Dr's would treat with if parasites were found..but maybe they could find more effective ways of dealing with them if the problem was taken more seriously and money was spent for researching ways of dealing with them."

I agree. Perhaps with this Forum and others like it, we might encourage the medical experts a healthier look at the problem, rather than ignoring it all together with "they don't exist". It is evident to me that doctors will need to be educated and their curriculum needs to be changed to include these kinds of infectious diseases. Right now, the medical education is very minimal and the mindset is closed.
