i have the equivelent experience of a phd in biblical studies, alternative medicine, wilderness survival. i am a journeyman trapper and a competent hunter. i probably also have a masters equivelent in psychology. i also dabble in music and geology. i know enough about politics to stay the hell away from it. i also know indoor horticulture and hydroponics and was just getting into aeroponics when i quit doing that. but shucks, i learned it all on my own. my formal education is not only worthless, most of it is wrong.

i have lived off the land in alaska, wrote and conducted training exercises in a space radar facility, won statewide awards selling real estate, general manager of a locally owned convenience store chain, done all phases of residential construction both military and civilian, managed apartments and hotels, worked every job in a restaurant except waiting, gold mined, made the deans list in college, translated greek and hebrew, played state fairs and colleges with my band, sat on the board and chaired the comminity clean up with the neighborhood housing services, saw the pope and reagan meet in fairbanks alaska and heard them speak on the tarmack, dipped my foot in the yukon river above the artic circle, snorkeled off the coast of key largo, trained in the canadian r-2000 and the alaska home craftsman super insulation techniques, fished for salmon in prince william sound, hunted dall sheep and moose in the alaska range, and i am a trained boiler operator and oil burner technician. i even drove a cab at night for a year.

things i wanted to do but didnt - bartend.

that was fun, but i should probably delete it. i am sure the list is in no wise complete.

the next 50 years is going to be even better. i havent hitchhiked across the country yet. i have stayed in a shelter for the experience, but have never been homeless - that would be interesting. i have never been rich, thank god. i would like to go to europe someday. i think the best is yet to come. plus, i want more kids.
