Rethinking Birthright citizenship means what exactly?

I know you think Ron Paul is innocent as a dove and has no ties personally to racism.
More than likely, Lew Rockwell ghost wrote some of more racist newsletters attributed to Ron Paul in the first person in the late 80's and throughout the 90's. Now, Ron Paul is supposedly speaking for himself in the article posted on the Lew Rockwell website. Will Ron Paul later recant this and say some Ghost writer wrote this piece as well?

Is this Lew Rockwell speaking for Ron Paul again or is it really memorex?

Rethinking Birthright Citizenship

by Ron Paul

A recent article in the Houston Chronicle discusses the problem of so-called anchor babies, children born in U.S. hospitals to illegal immigrant parents. These children automatically become citizens, and thus serve as an anchor for their parents to remain in the country. Our immigration authorities understandably are reluctant to break up families by deporting parents of young babies. But birthright citizenship, originating in the 14th amendment, has become a serious cultural and economic dilemma for our nation.

In some Houston hospitals, administrators estimate that 70 or 80% of the babies born have parents who are in the country illegally. As an obstetrician in south Texas for several decades, I can attest to the severity of the problem. It’s the same story in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. And the truth is most illegal immigrants who have babies in U.S. hospitals do not have health insurance and do not pay their hospital bills.

This obviously cannot be sustained, either by the hospitals involved or the taxpayers who end up paying the bills.

My Comment: If being born in the United States does not make one a citizen then what does? What does one do with the child born in America stripped of their birthright?
Nobody ever asks those questions and the final solution that such legislation would mean for children born in America and stripped of their citizenship? Don't think that the same racist Lew Rockwell has some kinder conservative solution in mind for these children. What do you and Lew suggest we do with my children, Ron? They are voting now and I can tell you for sure that they will not be voting for Ron Paul or anyone suggesting that they shold not have been given American citizenship.
