It is true that without affirmative action that my neighbors would not have been able to rise above the widespread discrimination of the majority before Civil Rights Laws were passed to protect my Black, Hispanic and blind neighbors. Those laws help to level the playing field. It is a fact. Not my discrimination. When minorities, women, and handicapped citizens have the same opportunities as those who are the majority then there will be no need for those laws but with this White Cross Section in CureZone as the example, it may be a very long time before everyone regardless of race, sex, and disability can compete on a level playing field.
