I'm vegan and have been on/off WD in these late two months. I think it works great.(the off was due to let's call them inner circumstances). You can lose weight easily as long as:
- you keep the sequence, skipping the proteins (avoid beans more than once a week): salad- cooked vegetables- grains (eventually with vegetables). Never, never begin with grains
- you eat 80% fruits&veggies and 20% max. grains&proteins
- you stop eating at least 3 hours before bedtime

I like not eating anything during daytime, like rygar, so would never go for the regime you pasted. I drink all urine I make plus other water, I actually run to the bathroom continuously! If I feel weak or hungry I take ACV&honey, especially when preparing for the liver flush. Fruit juices eventually, but never anything solid. It is quite important to give yourself plenty of water and minerals during the fasting phase to help your body to cleanse, that's why urine is ideal for me. It is also very handy!
For dinner, I have a big mixed salad with olive oil, then some steamed green veggies with oil and gomasium (like cabbage, broccoli etc), then a main course made with grains and vegetables, like curry, cuscous, pad thai, spelt pasta etc. It is a rich dinner.

Another thing: if you want to lose weight you have to change the way you think, besides the way you eat. It all comes to the reification of the belief you're not enough. Changed that belief, your way to healing is downhill.
I suggest you read Heal Your Life by Louise Hay and/or The Only Diet There Is by Sondra Ray. If you don't make the necessary changes in your mind you'll always find ways to sabotage your way towards the body you wish. (which is what I did in these two months, as soon as I saw I risked really to lose weight for good)

BTW, it is very wise of you to avoid meat! I can't even stand the smell of it...
