Re: Endo, PTSD & Hormones

Hi Gilda,

I found an article from National Geographic that talks about Bishpenol A, and it lists the saftey of the various recycle numbers on plastic products. It says that of the safer ones are the #2,#4, and #5, which my distilled water bottles are #2. My "SmartWater" (water with electrolytes) bottles, which are a #1, are harder, but not listed as safer.

Now, this contradicts the info you have, and you know more than I do. I did a search on this topic, and found all sorts of contradictory articles. They are safe, they are not, etc. I will show this to my doc and ask about it. I drink about a gallon of water a day, and to fill a pitcher over and over all day sounds like a daunting task. On the other hand, I don't want any chemical leaching into my water. So I will talk to my doc.

If you would like to see the article I found, I can post it (I have to search for it again).

Thank you Gilda, you have been wonderful with your kind advice, and I am just learning about all of this. This peri-menopause stuff is very scary to someone new to it like me.

Appreciated,
Val
