First off let me say this... you are not alone in how you feel. Most of us here have battled (and still battle) the Depression that comes with a condtion like FD that just tears apart the person in the mirror. I know it hits me hard at times when I see my head in the mirror.

The worst is when you are at the shopping malls and you go through one of those area's that have mirrors all over and you can see yourself top down... *Gasp*

The flip side of that hurt is once we understand it we can then channel the hurt an unstoppable drive to improve our condition and acceptance of one's self..... with all that said..

Your condition as you describe it sounds curious to me.... Most member talk about FD as a small patch that spreads slowly thoughout time usually starting in the scalp area maybe the back.. What you have described sounds like a whole body infection that occured rather quickly. I have read some medical entries that speak of a skin condion that results in a all over body breakout that results from something you can pickup in a hot tub. I would have to research the details but no doupt its worth looking into.

The hands are what get me... Do you have the dots anywhere that there is no hair present?
