Re: Build a Good Alkaline Mineral Reserve First.
Actually Alison, that was a dumb typo on my part and it should have really read 24+ ozs not 24+ glasses. Sorry about that. I cannot imagine any sane human being able to consume 24 + glasses of water a day.
It is noted by many veterans in the liver flush forum that as the epsom salts are extremely dehydrating and given the increased load of toxins that the liver flush releases, you can never consume too much water when before, during, and even after a liver flush. The goal is too quickly rid the body of toxins after a flush so that they are not left to circulate in the blood for long periods of time. That is the purpose of colonics, enemas, psyllium and bentonite shakes, etc., plus the high intake of water. Many flushers experienced extreme fatigue after liver flushes because they failed to consume enough water. The formula for calculating how much water one must ingest is: consuming 1/2 of one's body weight of water in ounces, daily. Since, I weigh 180 pounds, I should really be drinking 90 oz of water a day, and 24+ ounces is far shy of this. But alas, you could be right. My gut feeling though tells me that the liver flush is something I don't need to totally avoid, but refrain from doing for a while until my body recovers from what some would say "a healing crisis" caused by the liver flush. Once I sense that my body is fully recovered and ready to endure another liver flush and its aftermath, I shall do one. My blood analyst has no objections to me doing another flush but she also thinks I should wait a while and I fully trust her.
