I noticed that my liver flushes did not take as much out of me after adding the alkalizing drink, so I guess it has helped quite a bit, both with recovery time and the quality of the flush itself. But then I was moving towards raw foods and focused on organic mineral rich foods almost a year before I found this forum as I had come to recognize the importance of minerals in the diet.
I have no problem having a normal routine after about 12 - 1:00 P.M. on the day of the flush and most often do a late morning work out.
We are all different and this is where our own intuition about our "unique" state of health must come into play. Anyone else recommendation based on their experience may not be yours.
