I've been off line for a few days while my computer was being repaired. I was so happy to get your message. It was like hearing from a kindred soul!
I walk every day, rain or shine, but not for long periods. I have a neuropathy in my legs, so it's difficult. So I do a half hour at least once a day, and sometimes twice. I also lift weights every day and do pushups and squats. If it rains I do time on my rebounder.
Better than eat right for.. , I like The Metobollic Typing Diet by William Walcott. It's the same subject by more complete. I especially like what he says about balancing the amount of protein to your carb intake. I've tried it and found if the ratio isn't kept right for just your requirements then your energy level goes down; whether it's too much carbs or too much protein the results are felt fimmediately after a meal. No waiting!.
And have you read Insulin and It's Metabolic Effects, a lecture by Ron Rosedale, M.D.. You can find it on Mercola.com. It is the most astounding thing on health I have read, period!
