Re: 3 month old breastfed infant with chronic eczema seborrheic dermatitis
Hi! what you are doing sounds right, but you need a GOOD probiotic. I have suffered from eczema, since a weeee little baby myself as I was the victim of
Antibiotic trigger happiness. Anyway, I am now a student of alternative medicine and see a naturopath. I have done everything to control my eczema. I follow a gluten free diet and stay away from processed foods. Your diet sounds good though. I also had to take
Antibiotics during my delivery. My naturopath even said yes, that was a good idea for strep b, BUT she prescribed probiotics for me and my baby. This company makes neonate, for babies up to one year. I have never heard of anyone getting sicker from probiotics. Perhaps if they are cleaning out and not applying their medicine. I hate to say it, but I have to use a steroid cream when my body gets into healing mode. Most oils feel itchy to me, but castor oil in the tub feels really good. I would put olive oil or coconut oil in the tub, just a tiny amount to keep skin moist.
My naturopath told me to dip my pinky in the neonate formula a couple times a day and that is the dosage. you would benefit from some probiotic too. please let me know if you have any questions!
this brand isn't at health stores, but the cost is better than some of their most expensive stuff. here is where I order mine from now. (this isn't MY naturopath)
