I refer to that web site because it gives a concise explanation of why there's not a cure. You don't buy that and, in turn, I don't buy homeopathy or purported "cures" that make no scientific sense relating to how the virus actually works in the real world. I rely on information that comes from peer reviewed published authorities in the subject and I do not claim to be an expert myself as it's not my area of professional study, but I have an interest in it since I've dealt with herpes myself for a number of years and see the effects that it has on others.
The viral DNA is not part of the cellular DNA in the sense that the cell would reproduce itself with the virual DNA in the new cell. The way it was explained to me is that it's along side of the cell's natural DNA.
I think we're at a point of agreeing that we disagree.
