Luella & msteve666..Re: Garlic - Cooked or Raw?

Hello msteve666 & Luella,
my own research from my own records tell me this............

Scientifically, garlic has been studied for a wide variety of medical conditions. The research hasn't always shown positive results, but garlic has shown at least some promise in the fight against high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke. Garlic may also slow or stop the growth of some types of cancers.

Herbalists have been saying for years that RAW is better. People interested in using garlic for its potential health benefits are normally advised to use fresh garlic and avoid boiling it for more than 5 minutes.

REFFERENCES:

Al-Waili, N., et al (2007). Effects of heating, storage, and ultraviolet exposure on antimicrobial activity of garlic juice.

Hajheydari, Z., et al (2007). Combination of topical garlic gel and betamethasone valerate cream in the treatment of localized alopecia areata: a double-blind randomized controlled study.
