Circumcision:

PRO:
Stupid religous fanatacism
Stupid shame of the body by those in the first category and others who have been influenced by them. Preventing proper instruction by mothers to their sons regarding proper care of the penis.
The misguided opinion that it will somehow prevent "harmful" self-gratification.
A fewer infections as a result of lack of proper care instructions due to the second item.

CON:
Permanent mental harm inflicted by a procedure done without anesthetic by idiots who think the child will not remember the procedure so it doesn't matter.

Loss of sensitivity.

Mutilation of the human body.

In cases where it is medically necessary it can be done with more precision and less chance of further mutilation.

Did I mention loss of sensitivity??
