When I got mine I think it was a little cheaper, but that was a couple of years ago. The replacement salt and test strips are at about the price I remember when I got mine.

I am looking forward to trying a combination approach to water purification. Sometimes the water has kind of an off taste to it. Treating it with ClO2 is suppose to help with that.
