Re: great info!
Hello Ananda,
I forgot to add a caution...
It is not unusual when you set out to find answers through testing, to end up with more questions that, in turn, may be best answered through more testing. At some point, you have to develop the wisdom to know when to continue on the merry go round, and when to jump off and act upon the information you already have.
Welcome to the wonderful world of testing.
To answer your questions:
Yes. I added the apple juice and the ppm of free ClO2 went to 0 ppm. The label on the juice states that the ingredients are "Pressed Apple Juice." That's it. Nothing else added, according to the label. Under Nutrition Facts the amount of Vitamin C is listed as 0%.
No. None of the juices acted the same as water. They all lowered the available ppm of ClO2 much more than water did. Gatorade "Lemonade" actually had the least effect, however I don't think Jim Humble envisioned using Gatorade as a fruit juice in the
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement protocol. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but most people are trying to go with a purer form of juice. Actually, if you activate with lime juice, the Gatorade mix kind of reminds you of taking a splash of Gatorade while sitting next to a heavily chlorinated swimming pool. Ah... (thinking out loud very dreamily...) that was an excellent vacation. :)
I did try activating with different products. The results varied a little, but were similar. I tried Balsamic, Apple Cider, and Distilled White Vinegar and Lemon and Lime extract. I did not try
citric acid . I hear it tastes terrible and I didn't want to "ruin" my "delicious" beverage.
It is my belief that there are too many varieties of juices available to people, and there may be variations from batch to batch. In order to know how a particular juice effects the
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement solution, I think you need to run a test on it. That is why I appealed to everyone to pick up some test strips and share their results.
The most consistent results would be with water, but I would imagine that there could be some variation with water as well. However, I believe everyone has access to filtered bottled water.
Remember, the only improper or "stupid" question, is the question that is not asked...
