Re: last
Whittle invented the centrifugal flow design. In order to make more power, the diameter of the engine would need to be increased.
The Germans invented the axial flow design. In order to make more power, the engine's overall length needs to be increased.
Thus, Whittle invented an engine that is not currently in use, whereas the Germans invented the engine that is on all commercial and other aircraft.
Your reply is a bit off topic, as my point was merely that no system is 100% bad, and one can often do well to take the good, from a bad situation. Such as, why were the Third Reich's scientists so prolific ?
I've expressed my opinion about the avatar.
People who are offended by that joke of a photo are being a bit over-sensitive, looking for something to gripe about, who cannot see that the poster's posts, when taken as a whole, are mostly a bit off the wall and humorous. People just one generation ago would laugh their heads off at the way some folks on here act.
At any rate, the working jet was invented by a German.
Did you know the word "England" is a German word, meaning "narrow land" ?
Saxony existed in Germany, before it did on the Island, which makes many of your islanders to be of German descent. Thus, WWI and WWII, were alien-induced fratricidal wars, and all this talk that divides the people is the work of your devil himself, who wants to destroy all of you, and succeeds when you let it.
