IP spoofing is easier and faster than signing up for a new account. There are also countless cloaking web sites that provide this service for free. How do you stop that? I maintain spoofers will be spoofers.

It only seems rampant because you are focused on a few morons in a crowded room. You fail to see the other 50 people standing next to you doing good. I feel it is quite the opposite. Honest and helpful posters run rampant on curezone. Ignore the posters you feel are annoying, but please don't to take away my right away to read them.

Stick around. There could be a time it may affect you or someone you know. The liberty point was addressed in point 2 which you conveniently left out, as well as another I thought of: 3.) No longer being able to post anonymously with your number (a practice I don't personally use but certainly a right that should be protected even from mods).

What I particularly don't like is that; if such a tool existed, some mods could then decide (using whatever subjective rationale they wanted) that you were spoofing and dispatch you without proper review of the situation.

In addition to these points there will also be unforeseen consequences. Why would giving a governing body more power over you (under the guise of good intentions) EVER be a good thing? This is just another potential abuse of power in my view.
