Was Jesus a liar?

Jesus said that the kingdom of God had arrived - same message as John the Baptist.  He said it over and over and even sent out his disciples to teach the same thing.

Mark 1:14-15: Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel."

More evidence that the kingdom of God had arrived and that people with Jesus would see it:

Matthew 16:28: Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom."

Mark 9:1: And he said to them, "Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power."

Luke 9:27: But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God."

Regarding "the return" of Jesus - who said he ever left?

Fear creates hate.  All who proclaim some futuristic heaven and hell are instigating fear, and hate.  The kingdom of God is now!  And always has been since the original message of Jesus.
