He was resurrected in the flesh after his death on the cross ... and during his visits with the apostles he foretold his return in a later time. This is further witnessed by the John in the Book of Revelations, and by other apostles writing in the Acts.

The saviour said that he was to return again to the earth "In glory and power." This was not the way he appeared after his resurrection; at that time he appeared as his apostles had seen him in life - as a man. At his second coming, he will appear surrounded by angels, in glory and power.
