lol sorry..didn't get to read the lower half of your post til now.
but I agree that without a solid foundation of love in the family,one may go out into the world seeking an emotional connection or partnership in order to fill in that void..or butthole,which ever they choose (lol,sorry I know that really shows my maturity level)

Its kinda sad actually,because I know exactly what you mean..thats exactly how I grew up.Kinda just off always in my little own world,no hugs,no kisses no comfort or joy.
But I turned out just fine..
