I think your thoughts are well-reasoned. I think its probably good practice to add good things to distilled water. Can't hurt and can only be positive. I do this most of the time.
However, I'm not convinced drinking only naked distilled can create a leaching gradient at the intracellular level unless you are fasting. Even then, I'm not sure. I'm also not convinced of the pH acidity argument. Supposedly pH of distilled water is neutral and testing the pH of water is inaccurate with traditional layman tools.
