Re: To Remi
Hi Remi:
What a great response...thank you so much for the thoughtful and informative reply. I really appreciate it and your encouragement. I'm goofy because I go through streaks where I ignore the candida and try to convince myself it's not a problem and then I realize that it's not normal to get a rash after a small amount of sugar. That's part of the reason I haven't come to curezone for so long...I've been in denial for the past 5 months and when I get depressed I don't take very good care of myself physically and have a tendency to self-destruct. In fact, I'm addicted to *&%^*## diet Coke again...once I realized that I could drink it and not seem to react I went right back to it. It's funny how I will seek self-destruction using any vice, no matter how unworthy.
You're right; I am definitely not cured and had decided to just go on as I have been because all the stuff that's bad for candida is also bad for rosacea. The lymphatic vessels in my face are damaged from having rosacea for so long; that is why I puff up in response to a lot of different things. I have been posting a lot on the rosacea board, actually, and giving people info about rosacea and sending them here for more info about parasites/candida and talking about its relation to candida. The byproduct of candida, acetaldehyde, which I know you've posted on the dangers of, is a potent vasodilator. Getting the candida down definitely helps my rosacea and it would probably help a lot of other people.
All the things I learned on this board have helped me a lot, but I honestly still feel quite clueless. I don't know if candida is from heavy metals, or if it protects us from heavy metals, if a person should keep their mercury fillings (I did based on your advice, thank you), if
colonics are a good idea (I remember you don't think so), whether to use prescription anti-fungals, the role of leaky gut, etc. I honestly became overwhelmed for awhile. Maybe I should just focus on what's helped me and share that. I hesitate to suggest illegally obtaining a prescription for difulcan, however, so I guess I'll leave that piece of information out.
I'm happy you found a doctor who actually knows about candida. I'd be tempted to travel out to see that person. What sorts of things are you doing differently that he suggested? (I'll check your posts, so don't bother if you've already described them). I might want to try some of them.
Thank you so much for all you do for everyone here. You're a true gem and good luck to you on your journey towards healing. BTW-did you see my post on Granny Smiths, cinnamon, and stevia? It's pretty tasty for the holidays and not a no-no. I'm working on figuring out a crust we can eat, if I find one that's edible I'll post it.
Regards and thank you again,
Queta
