Re: To Remi
Hi Remi:
I'm glad to hear you're doing pretty well. I still don't eat dairy, sugar, gluten, alcohol, or a lot of fruit but I am doing pretty well. I would say I am about 90% better. I went to a more natural minded doc and he ran lots of tests and found out that I have pernicious anemia and Hashimoto's hypothyroidism so I am giving myself vitamin B-12 shots twice per week and taking a small
Iodine supplement. I also still take good bacteria supplements but stopped all antifungals. I did have a little bit of
Sugar last week in a gluten free, dairy free cake someone made and I got a slight rash from it so I can tell that I have to stay away from
Sugar still. I put some tea tree oil on it and it went away fast, though.
I also have rosacea quite bad (which was the cause of my puffy face I found out) so a lot of my dietary restrictions are to keep that under control. Like I noticed you said in one of your posts, I don't really care about food anymore. One of the reasons I stopped posting on curezone is I feel like I don't know what advice to give...I'm still not sure what helped me the most or what didn't work. I know that diet is king, however, and my taking a course of diflucan (illegally-alas) did permanently get rid of 90% of the rashes on my skin. I hesitate to advise anyone else to go this route, however, because I'm afraid someone else might have a bad reaction to it. Also, I can't say I'm really "cured" because I still eat a very restricted diet but have resigned myself to it because of my rosacea (I have the nasty subtype that can develop into a bulbous nose-scary-so I am quite motivated).
It's so nice of you to continue posting your advice and offering your expertise.
It must be a little frustrating to see others come here, get better, and leave while you're still here.
Regards and I'll keep you in my thoughts,
Queta
