Re: Would like to start chelation but...

I think you can do both, cautiously.

In my situation, I spend a lot of time fighting yeast and parasites, but they kept coming back no matter what I used: herbs, zapper ( a waste of money in my opinion, I think it screwed me up worse from the copper in the handles ), pro-biotics, etc.

Mercury and heavy metals really screw up your immune system. I've found that at least in my case, I keep feeling better with chelation and my body starts "dumping" stuff on its own and I'm not having to take a ton of stuff just to keep the yeast and parasites down.

That being said, I still take lots of supplements to feel well and support the immune system.

So you can probably try both. But take lots of probiotics if you go on anti-biotics.

Also, like Lapis suggested, you may want to try natural remedies first and a raw, alkaline diet before going down the anit-biotic route.

In my case, my Urine PH is very acidic, and I've switched to a mostly raw diet with lots of veggies, nuts, some fruit, and some sprouted grains. Flax seed and oil is also helping me, as are Almonds in moderation for all the fiber. I still eat cooked eggs and meat occasionally, probably 1 portion every 2 days or so. My urine and my system is slowing becoming more alkaline but it takes time. But I've noticed I feel a lot better now.

Good luck,
Mike
