Do you know the alloy content of your gold fillings?

>>>The hybrids gave me arthritis, the glass ionomers made me nauseous. Now, I have gold but the cement might very well also be causing me problems

I don't think the cement would cause you any problems. Do you know what % metal composition your gold fillings are? Most gold fillings have cytotoxic palladium in them, which after I learned I reneged on getting gold fillings. Palladium is banned in Switzerland for dental work and discouraged in Germany.

Find out the composition of the filling. If your dentist says 'high noble' that doesn't mean jack, just means high noble metal content where palladium is a noble metal too. Platinum is fine, but any palladium or copper is bad. If he can't tell you, obviously you got what you got.
