Re: Experiences of emotional healing

I was not disagreeing with any part of your post,
just wanting to share what additional connections
I have made on how good body maintenance can further
progress. I think some DO think that once you achieve
a balance that it should stay that way and yet it
takes all the focus that you are writing about, a
mind-body connection, and shifts in awareness, to keep
the progress going.

I learned years ago about the connection between the
liver and emotions and so find when I am going through
a difficult emotional time, that using herbs to support
my liver, and flushing help me sail through it with less
difficulty. For example, I was experiencing much grief
after my choice to divorce after a long term marriage.
I made the connection and began Liver Flushing and like
running fresh water through a pipe clogged, not only
did I feel better physically, but also emotionally.

My relatively recent personal conversion to amping up
my fat intake has also served to calm down cravings
which emotionally had me stymied as I did not like
feeling out of control. Again, I feel it helped my
liver/gallbladder function and many of the benefits
did translate to an emotional feeling of wellbeing.

Please know, it was not my intention to offend you
or to suggest that your own intuitions were off base,
only to add my own feelings and experience as I am
also continuing my own path of finding balance and
exploring the connection between mind-body on all
levels. This healing aspect is not one which I feel
all people are aware of, but it would benefit many.
Still, I cannot help but believe that good body
maintenance can act like a bridge to this awareness.

The lack of awareness of transfats was my problem.
I did not pay much attention to it and of course new
labeling has made it easier. I have noticed though
that there are differences in the way I feel and my
outlook since my efforts now seem less like spinning
my wheels. It is all connected, and as I connect more
dots, I hope to find even greater progress.

I agree about cabbage fasting too. I know the post
does not exist on Curezone anymore that I know of
but I had a copy of the original post you wrote and
was very grateful you shared that information. I have
not used it for an extended fast as you have but
certainly would try it. I have drunk the cabbage
water though, especially wanting the detox effect
and remineralizing. Again, I love fasting because it
does allow me to take my focus off of eating which
for me, as an emotional eater, I need the reminder
that we eat to live and not live to eat.

blessings,
Zoe
