Try reseasoning it: Try seasoning it again!

After washing, oil it really good with a paper towel and stick it in the oven for 2-3 hours. There should not be enough oil it in to pop and crack.

If you don't have an oven, you can do it on a burner. Heat it really hot, and then turn it down and leave it there for 2-3 hours. The first few times you wash it, you may have to reseason it, but eventually it will coat and work well for you.

Then, when you wash it, put it on the burner to dry. Wipe it with oil if necessary and leave it a few minutes.
