Trapper - I don't get you!!??
Weren't you one of the founders of this forum? And as such wouldn't you know better than that there are only 2 kinds of oil that can be used, one way and time to brush your teeth, only a set number of minutes, a set time, etc?
Only using the 2 kinds of oil is NOT A MUST!
Brushing your teeth in a prescribed way before pulling is NOT A MUST!
Swishing in some studied way is NOT A MUST!
We were told by the OP that all these procedures were "musts" and that's what we're debating here. How do I know they're not musts? RTFF. (read the f*ng forum). People (including myself) are getting fantastic results experimenting with other oils, brushing after rather than before, rinsing with or without salt, not thinking twice about the way they're swishing etc.
Could results improve by staying with this guys narrow orthodoxy? Maybe, most likely not. But that's not the point. The point is that something that's a "must", implies that violating it either causes harm or invalidates the benefits. Obviously neither of these are the case.
In fact this vibrant forum has all kinds of people reporting great results with various new approaches that are being tried and adopted to all of our benefit. We're not following the orthodoxy here - we're pushing the state of the art and will end up with a vastly richer and farther reaching discipline.
For someone like you that founded this forum and has another forum that professes using radically high doses of iodine, I'm confused by your professed slavishiness to established procedure and methods in the case of OP.
