If people can be narrow minded and dogmatic about oil pulling then about what couldn't they be? The one and only true way to eat an oreo cookie, compose music, do chin ups, French kiss? Some people just need to be told that it's OK to act under your own volition. It probably goes back to having the "mind authority" bit drilled into them unmercifully in childhood.
