I also had the wonderful experience of finding 'a no doubt about it' tape worm head. I did my first purge about a 9 months ago now, because we found something swimming around in the septic tank. We bought this house three years ago, and had the septic tank drained when we moved in. We had to fix the lid, which had broken, and when we looked in along with the other goodies floating around the top of the septic tank was a long white tape worm looking right back at us. So I knew it was either me or hubbie, but my money was on hubbie because of his horrible diet.

We went off to the health food store, and got a the on sale parasite purge, and guess what, it wasn't him, it was ME! I did herbs for almost three months, but I couldn't handle the Colon Cleanse that long, I think I did that for about a month.

I definitely had a beef tape worm, we are jewelers, and we have lots of magnifying lenses, and it had the black hooks. The worst part of it for me was finding the segments before I found the head, and worrying about whether it was a pork tape worm, or a beef tape worm. I'd been sick with all sorts of symptoms for years, lots of fruitless trips to the doctor, where I'd been diagnosed with everything from Depression to low thyroid, to hypochondria. I had a lot of fatigue, and I'd about decided that it was just getting older, and I'd just have to deal with it.

I'm glad I got the worm, thank you, and mine had to have been really large, and it had been there a very long time.

I felt crummy again this summer, had kind of stomach flue symptoms, and decided to do another tape worm purge, and I found a segment today of a small one. Even though I'd taken the clove preparation, I guess I didn't get all the eggs and larvae.

I'd love to hear what other people have done and tried in getting rid of these guys. They seem awfully hard to kill. My herbs worked in part because my husband and I had tried drinking food grade hydrogen peroxide and had done so for almost 6 months before I tried the kill the parasite herbs. This time, I'm using the herbal stuff, I didn't use Wormwood last time, but I am this time, and I'm also doing a relatively low daily dose of H2O2.

I think the hyrogen perxoide softened the worm up, and helped me cleanse physically enough so that the herbs worked. I really am not nuts! However, try telling anyone you know that you had a really big tape worm for a lot of years. I guess now I just have Tape worm jr. but I would rather not have anything.

I am slowly feeling better, right now I'm not feeling well, because the herbs and the hydrogen peroxide pretty much kick the body pretty hard. However, I have started to get a more normal energy level, and that's something to be grateful for.
