This is a reply to # 1,024,672I have been taking the Barefoot dewormer for a month, but was still seeing parasites, (flukes- red/pink chunks and tomato skin rolled up things) and had felt like I had alot more going on, I have definite sore spots inside. You'd asked if I'd ever seen a beef tape worm, which I hadn't (we don't normally cut into the intestines of the beef when we butcher), but this wasn't the white type of normal tape worm you see in the pic's, it was definetly brown- and I definetly got the head..so maybe I have now seen a beef tape worm..to go with the liver flukes.
Whatever it is, I'm GLAD to have it getting the heck OUT of there!

I had grandkids around here all day, and in the back of my mind, I thought I should do a coffee enema to make sure all of the tape worm was out. I'm glad I listened to myself, because there was alot more of him that came out with the coffee enema, and clear water enemas I did...including a whole bunch of the transparent/white "skin" stuff that I always thought a tape worm would look like--he definetly wasn't intact. It took more enema flushings than I would normally do before I felt like I'd gotten all of his pieces out.

This is a reply to # 1,025,236Yeh, it's hard to get a good, clear close-up picture, but it definetly is the head. I was sure it was a tape worm, but couldn't figure out why it wasn't white like the pic's you see of them...well..with the enema, which I'm so glad I did..I got a whole bunch of the white, "skin" stuff. I have the head in alcohol in a jar, it's for sure the head. But, after seeing the pic's on the internet of what they look like under a microscope..I don't think I want to look at it that closely.
It definetly didn't come out intact..I think it kind of blew up in there- sounds gross. I started taking the L-cysteine/ozonated olive oil yesterday too, which I had planned on doing, but really decided to do after seeing it. The L-cysteine is supposed to help clean out toxins the parasites put out too.
We'll see, I still feel like I have more parasites, I don't know what, the thought of the possibility of more tape worms grosses me out, but we'll just see.. I'm sure I'm not done yet, I feel them, and my abdomen still feels like it has a football in it.
I had been preparing for a Liver Flush and planning on doing a flush last night, and I decided to go ahead with it. It's the coke flush, which I like because I don't get nauseous and vomit with it, but it sometimes doesn't work right away. I went ahead and took the Epsom Salts this morning, the morning after drinking the oil/lemon juice/coke..but I'd been taking the phos acid drops already and thought I'd best keep going with it. We'll see what that might bring too.
I'd still seen the red/pink chunks of liver flukes day before yesterday too.

I also had the wonderful experience of finding 'a no doubt about it' tape worm head. I did my first purge about a 9 months ago now, because we found something swimming around in the septic tank. We bought this house three years ago, and had the septic tank drained when we moved in. We had to fix the lid, which had broken, and when we looked in along with the other goodies floating around the top of the septic tank was a long white tape worm looking right back at us. So I knew it was either me or hubbie, but my money was on hubbie because of his horrible diet.
We went off to the health food store, and got a the on sale parasite purge, and guess what, it wasn't him, it was ME! I did herbs for almost three months, but I couldn't handle the Colon Cleanse that long, I think I did that for about a month.
I definitely had a beef tape worm, we are jewelers, and we have lots of magnifying lenses, and it had the black hooks. The worst part of it for me was finding the segments before I found the head, and worrying about whether it was a pork tape worm, or a beef tape worm. I'd been sick with all sorts of symptoms for years, lots of fruitless trips to the doctor, where I'd been diagnosed with everything from Depression to low thyroid, to hypochondria. I had a lot of fatigue, and I'd about decided that it was just getting older, and I'd just have to deal with it.
I'm glad I got the worm, thank you, and mine had to have been really large, and it had been there a very long time.
I felt crummy again this summer, had kind of stomach flue symptoms, and decided to do another tape worm purge, and I found a segment today of a small one. Even though I'd taken the clove preparation, I guess I didn't get all the eggs and larvae.
I'd love to hear what other people have done and tried in getting rid of these guys. They seem awfully hard to kill. My herbs worked in part because my husband and I had tried drinking food grade hydrogen peroxide and had done so for almost 6 months before I tried the kill the parasite herbs. This time, I'm using the herbal stuff, I didn't use Wormwood last time, but I am this time, and I'm also doing a relatively low daily dose of H2O2.
I think the hyrogen perxoide softened the worm up, and helped me cleanse physically enough so that the herbs worked. I really am not nuts! However, try telling anyone you know that you had a really big tape worm for a lot of years. I guess now I just have Tape worm jr. but I would rather not have anything.
I am slowly feeling better, right now I'm not feeling well, because the herbs and the hydrogen peroxide pretty much kick the body pretty hard. However, I have started to get a more normal energy level, and that's something to be grateful for.

I knew I had the liver flukes because I've been seeing them, not small ones. So I had that figured out as being what has been causing the liver problems. But I've had really sore spots inside of me too...and just a couple of days before getting the tape worm, there was a new sore spot. I went to bed 2 nights with castor oil packs because it was really sore! That spot hasn't been sore like that since I got the tape worm, and I'm sure he had latched onto me there!
That's the thing that gets you when you do actually realize that they've been in there, probably for years and years, laying eggs.
If you'll put in a search for Dr. Hulda Clark , and parasite clean up, it will tell you what she says what to do to get the tough worms, and eggs. She says there are certain types of tape worms, and ascarid eggs that NO herbal OR zapper is going to be able to get. She says to take ozonated olive oil, with L-Cysteine for 3 weeks, and also a mega dose of CoQ10 a few times.
I know I'm not done with the parasites by a long ways, I can feel them, my abdomen bloats up and those couple of sore spots still plague me. I'm going to hammer them with the ozonated oil and L-Cysteine, and I've done a couple of mega doses of the CoQ10...if Dr. Clark makes the herbs, and sells the zapper, and says there are certain tape worms and ascarid eggs they won't touch...I'm going to do the clean up to make sure to get them cleaned up!
I had started taking another dewormer just 2 days before getting him too, and I'm sure that's what did it. I hadn't started on the ozonated oil/L-Cysteine yet. I was taking the herbal, tincture dewormer for a month and knew I still had parasite problems, and added a dewormer that also contained homeopathic remedies specific for tape worm, liver flukes, and ascarids- along with the herbs. I think that's what did the trick. The 2nd dewormer also says that for tough infections to go up to 3 months on it..."normally" just 30 days. I'm not normal, I've got a pretty bad infestation just in trying to get the liver flukes...little did I know..also the tape worm. When I got this guy, I already knew I was sick with something, and my hubbie and I had been drinking food grade hydrogen peroxide at a pretty hefty dose for several months.
I'm on it again now, and 6 months after getting the big bubba tape worm my insides have healed up a lot. It doesn't hurt to take this stuff like it did. Although the hydrogen peroxide probably isn't the best way to get a tape worm, between that and the herbs, it was a dead duck. I have a feeling that the level of hydrogen peroxide I was drinking should have killed anything, but it didn't. I think it made me healthy enough that when I did start on the herbs, they really worked.
The head I found was 5 mm in diameter, the tape worm segments looked like plump little white pillows were about a quarter inch on one side and 3/4 quarter inch on the other. So I had this critter living in me a long time, and it was big and healthy. The head was gray colored, it was dead for a couple of days before I found it, maybe that was why it was a different color than the segments.
Probably it loved all those vitimins the doctors gave me, and I'm sure it just loved the wellbutrin and the zoloft.
Like Meatloaf, I Want my Money Back!!!! But there you go, MD's do not look for tape worms.
Thanks for telliing me about the Dr. Clarke site, I've read a little of it, but I haven't yet tried the zapper. I was on a colon clease formula and an herbal parasite killer for about three months, and I just got worn out from the constant diahrrea, and backed off for a while. (This was after three months of food grade hydrogen peroxide, 25 drops three times a day- which is just plain rasty- you have to drink it on an empty stomach and you have to wait at least an hour after taking the stuff to put anything in your stomach, and if you eat too soon you find out why

I knew I hadn't gotten everything, but I had got off to a good start. It sucks to be back at again, and finding juvenile tape worm dead bodies, but at least it beats finding live ones. It does make sense to me to get rid of as much of the worm material, dead or alive as you possibly can, but as you know, it's an exhausting and nasty business. We found the symptoms of early tape worm infection on one of the tape worm diet site, and I think I got re-infected last summer, it's a mild stomach disorder- you feel nauseated for a week or so.
I am glad you got yours, I felt a lot better when I was was off the herbs and at least didn't have the big guy any longer. it's a good thing not to wake up in the moring and feel like throwing up, and I did that for years.

Have a question on the Parasitin. This company is in Barbados. I suppose there is an import charge? Looked over the ingredients. Papain dissolves the bodies of threadworms?!! Sometimes take that in a digestive enzyme complex. This looks like a good complex of ingredients. Do you think it worked well for you? Have been reading that people do change over and use several different kinds of bug killers. Not much experience in doing that yet. My most effective results right now is using Barefoot's de-wormer. I definetly think the Parasitin+ made a difference. I've been using the Barefoot dewormer too..and am taking both now. I got 2 more "smaller" tape worms in the past week too. The Parasitin has homeopathic remedies, besides the herbals- and it contains some of the same ingredients as Barefoots- (or Clarkia , or Humaworm), but it also contains quite a few different ones. The site is very informative, I thought, and tells what each ingredient is good for. The homeopathic ingredients specifically targets the tapeworms, flukes and ascarids.
When I got my order, it's 4 capsules am and pm, and I got it in the mail during the day, so I started on the evening dosage (along with Barefoot's). I know it targeted the tape worm right away, I was definetly having die off symptoms the next day, and day after that- and didn't even realize why I was feeling so awful- terribly bloated stomach, tired, just felt punky. It was a day and 1/2 after starting the product that I got the granddaddy tape worm. That was 4 weeks into using Barefoot's, and I'd used 2 weeks prior to that of The Liver Dr's herbal anti-parasite, which also contains Black-Walnut , Wormwood , and cloves- and a few other herbs too.
I don't know why it's on the website that it's out of the country, I'd wondered that too, but the product comes from Florida- and the shipping and handling charges were just $6.75. I got the whole kit- 2 bottles of Parasitin; the colon cleanser; and probiotics. The Alternative Med Dr. already has had me colon cleansing with herbs, and I was going to just get the Parasitin and Probiotics, but it was actually a better price getting the whole thing that comes in one kit.

I'm seeing that there are alot of people that are on the forums where the herbalists have their own formulas, and there are people that are only going to do specific herbalists formulas, which is fine...but I don't think they are going to get a total kill of the tough parasites- especially if they are just doing the 30 days and quitting. The Alt. Medicine Dr. was adamant about that, he said that no matter if I think I'm seeing parasites or not, to keep going a full 2 months solid to get them in all phases- eggs etc. And, he also told me that in tough cases like mine, that it is going to take different formulas for a longer period of time to get them cleaned up, and he told me that I most likely needed to take a couple of them together, which was what I did, and I feel got the results from.
I have been really surprised the past week to be getting ascarids, which I had thought would have been the "easier" ones to kill..apparently not. I'm now going on 8 weeks of being on herbals..have been using the different formulas, have been taking the L-Cysteine/ozonated oil like Dr. Clark says to do for the "tough worms"- ascarids-eggs/and tapeworm...and almost 8 weeks into it, I'm seeing them. That would never have happened had I stayed with the "normal" dosage, and only for 30 days.
I'm going to invest in a zapper too...but Dr. Clark said the reason for the L-Cysteine/ozonated oil and megadoses of CoQ10 occasionally, is because there are going to be some worms that even the herbs AND zappers are not going to get killed.
Like one of the others was saying, I don't remember who said it..but I feel these darned things in there, that's how I know I have them! They DO sting, and they DO move around. I definetly am going to know when they are finally gone.
The Alt. Med Dr. told me to expect that it could take up to a year, rotating wormers, doing homeopathic, to finally get these things cleaned up, eggs etc. One of the Applied Kinesiology/homepathic tests he did for parasites...showed strong for a type of worm I thought was flukes, because I knew I had the fluke problem..he later told me that he hadn't even gotten to the flukes, that it was for microscopic parasites that I tested strongly for.
So, besides the big ones I'm actually seeing...who knows what there is that isn't visible to the human eye...and eggs.
The herbals are broad spectrum..and may work for "normal" infestations, but I'm having my doubts that people are getting the tough worms killed. One tape worm can lay up to a MILLION eggs a day...

Your post answers so many questions like whether the bugs get immune to one anti-parasitic formula, how long one might have to take stuff to finally get rid of them and the eggs they lay. The bugs don't want to be killed and it seems like quite a battle between us and them.
I felt ignorant as to where I got them except I now have a heightened awaress of the world we live in and also that people are now traveling all over the world and re-infesting each other. I think I might have picked up lots in my work because I entered places that were very unsanitary.
