Re: Is that the sound of echoing I hear...

"But going around warning everyone against therapeutic supplementation, simply because you are one of the few who could not tolerate the same amount that is helping the vast majority of people, who are courageous enough and willing to try it, is like warning people not to get into a hot tub because you are afraid they might drown.

What, exactly, is the point of frightening people, and warning them away from trying something that might make a huge difference in their health?

People who want to care take others and protect people to such a degree are often the ones that push for legislation that limits personal freedom, and that alarms me. We already have too many laws on the books protecting stupid people from themselves. The gene pool would be better off without them.

Why anyone would want to prevent others, some who have been very ill, and nearly died, from mega dosing and feeling better than they have ever felt, is beyond my comprehension. Is there some reason why anybody should be afraid to take a therapeutic dose that could potentially save their life?"

Galaxony I respect your desire to show others the way, you have had great success with Iodine supplementation, but perhaps it could have been acheived in another way with much less discomfort.

However, I do take offense to your claim that I try to scare people. I encourage others to try iodine, but only if it works toward helping them feel better. I don't believe that the body can function well going through detox and this "detox reaction" should be avoided at all costs. That is my opinion and I am intitled to share my opinion on these public forums, just as you are entitled to disagree with my opinion and openly state yours.

This is what makes these forums useful and helpful to all. Curezoners look at all perspectives and take with them what makes sense for their personal needs, what makes sense to them based on their own understanding and view of the world.

There is little that we can be certain of in this day and age, but one thing we can always trust is natural balance and moving in that direction makes more sense to me!
