Re: Fodder for the mill...
Good thing I didn't read this last January, before I started therapeutic supplementation with Iodine, or I might have hesitated. But maybe not.
I learned a long time ago that the propaganda about natural supplements like herbs and minerals being dangerous and inneffective was just silliniess. Supplements are not toxic, people are. They are not silver bullets either. But that doesn't make them ineffective. It just means you have to find one that works for you.
If you think
Iodine is giving you hypo-thyroidism, stop taking it for goodness sake. And in doing so, you will likely find out it was just a temporary condition, and you're a whole lot better off for having taken it.
Last week I took twenty drops, twice a day, five days in a row. And I weigh 100 pounds. I am fine. I sneezed a couple of times, which told me I needed to reduce the dose. So I'm taking less this week.
Before I started taking Iodine, I took bloodroot every night for four years, right before I went to bed, to keep the
parasites from stinging my throat and waking me up. Now I don't need the bloodroot any more.
Before I started taking Iodine, my skin was so dry I had to put lotion on several times per day to keep it from flaking and looking wrinkled. Now my skin is soft and supple and I only apply lotion once daily after bathing, for the scent of it.
Before I started taking
Iodine I had TMJ so bad I couldn't open my mouth wide enough to eat a veggie burger because my jaw would freeze up. Now I can eat veggie burgers no problem. My TMJ is gone.
Before I started taking
Iodine I needed 8-10 hours of sleep every night and I woke up depressed and dreading the day. Now I only need 4-6 hours of sleep per night and I wake up enthusiastic and ready for a new adventure.
Before I started taking Iodine, I had to lay down and rest after giving someone a massage. Two massages per day, resting between them was my limit. Now I am strong, like Pop Eye after eating a can of spinach. I can give 3-4 massage a day without a rest break, and then go out dancing.
Before I started taking Iodine I had brain fog and poor short term memory. Now I am thinking clearly and reading books again.
Before I started taking Iodine I had joint problems. They are gone now, although I went through a period during detox when they got worse temporarily.
Before I started taking Iodine, I was having an irregular heart beat several times per day. It stopped two days after I started taking Iodine and it has not returned.
