One of the best ways to get the rocks out of the body is old fashioned apple cider vinegar. In a book by Paul Bragg and his daughter Patricia, the claim is made that taking the vinegar drink daily will help pull out deposited rock minerals. In my experience, this seems to be true. I don't know if this will help your Mom or not, but it might be worth a try. My recipe is mix a tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar (I use Bragg's or Spectrum), a teaspoon or two of raw honey in a glass of distilled water. Drink this two or three times a day. Its a good source of potassium and has some magnesium. I am not sure about calcium though. Does your mother like cantaloupe? It is a good source of calcium.
Going back to the drink, JCrow shared an old folk recipe from Dr. Jarvis that said to add a drop of Lugol's to the drink to relieve the pain of arthritis. I like to add two drops to the drink and use that twice a day. It does help and I have suffered from chronic pain for years.
