Re: How bad are peoples symptoms?

I don't feel as bad as some people here. But i was tested positive for candida antibodies (IgG or IgA i think). My naturopath prescribed the blood test, obviously MD was useless. Except he gave me nystatin when i've shown him my test results :)
I do have multiple muscle and joint pains, trigger points in my muscles etc. The muscle pains go away when i go on the diet. But i get really cranky w/o sugar, so i guess i am hypoglicemic. I also have some intestinal discomfort etc. But nothing terrible.
I was having canker sores in my mouth very often since i was 15. Nothing ever helped, until i tried nystatin. So this proves that those are caused by candida. My doctor didn't want to believe it until i told him that they were gone.
Anyway, low Sugar diet seems to work for me, except my family eats nothing but junk food, so i have hard time staying away from it.
I think this problem is manageable with diet and antifungals. The only thing that bothers me is that everyone, including my naturopath, tells me that candida overgrowth is usually a symptom of something else. So you can get rid of candida, but it would keep coming back until you eliminate the problem. I still don't know what my problem is ;(
