I wrote a similar message to this forum a while back but I don't think it ever got posted, probably due to my error... :< I have symptoms that appear to be exactly the same as morgellon's sufferers, but I have had no one look at it for the reasons we all know too well--if the doctor doesn't know what it is, you are considered crazy and sent away with another huge bill--waste of time, money and energy. I did go to the dermatologist and had a lesion removed that was on the corner of my mouth. At the time I suspected it could have been cancerous or something but it came back from the lab “unidentifiable”.
My first encounter with this is when I saw hundreds of fibers in my bath water after starting an herbal cleansing product that made me itch--it was alarming and was way too many fibers for it to be associated with my bathrobe or clothing--plus they all were the same color. This had never happened to me before so I got on the internet to see what normal flora looked like but could never get a definitive answer on that and stopped researching when I saw the morgellon's pictures--my symptoms were eerily similar to morgellons...which to be honest is so unbelievable that I can understand people's skepticism--and it makes me feel like I am living in the twilight zone--it is alarming that this is really happening.
A long story short, I have stopped the herbal formula but have since had a few lesions that just appear and disappear within a few days to a week. I just started taking olive leaf extract a while back and the itching has gotten better and my lesions have all but disappeared. I am also doing some other things like stepping up my immune boosting supplements and taking probiotics and H202 /salt water baths. Occasionally I will have a biting itch and will at times, take a piece of scotch tape to see if anything is there--these dark blue, pink and clear fibers on still on my skin, no matter what clothing I have on. Thinking this could be airborne, I have even put filters over the registers and there are no signs of these fibers. Even though my symptoms seem to be in the beginning phases of this mysterious disease, it has been a hard blow to me as I have been working diligently toward getting stronger and recovering from my diagnosis of Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone is as perplexed as I am that there hasn't been some sort of questionnaire done on the commonalities of morgellon's patients? I looked on the morgellons.org site, thinking they might have something there but they are only registering people now. For what, the slaughter? All kidding aside here, it is all fine and good to register as I know it is important to get strength in numbers, but what good is it going to do us right now? I am very curious as to if this vector, water or air born, from products that we are using or from certain brands of jeans or for that matter, even bed sheets that could have come from another country? I specifically say jeans, because when taking a microbiology course last year, there was a California lab mentioned that had experimented with the DNA of e-coli and essentially turned them into little manufacturers of ...guess what? Blue fibers! The article in our book stated that soon, we could be wearing jeans manufactured by genetically altered bacteria! I remember being fascinated by this at the time, but questioned how they essentially got the bacteria to stop the process. I have since read that the lab sold these fibers to textile manufacturing companies--and who knows, maybe these little manufacturers were never turned off and have the capability to continue manufacturing--this seems very plausible to me. This would also make sense as to why the CDC delayed their investigation. Can you imagine the implications here? Depending upon how widespread this technology was used, it could possibly cause a widespread panic--enough to maybe even stop the clothing industry in its tracks.
I thank God that some researchers are looking at the fiber structure to determine what type of material this is, but I think we also need to know more about why it is affecting some, but not others and why it seems to be spreading so rapidly right now. For example, I know that it started in 3 main states, California, Florida and Texas--but I live in Virginia...how did it spread here? I took a vacation last year to San Lucas California, so if I got exposed there, from what source? Another person...? Is the water contaminated? How can we work toward getting answers before this totally blows up into pandemic proportions? Does anyone know of researchers who have a questionnaire and who are asking questions? Maybe we could all band together somehow---I have a list of questions that I think might lead us to common denominators but I am sure others could contribute to this list. Maybe something would show up as being a suspect common vector [carrier], maybe not, but I think it is worth a try, as I think that we need to know the source as well as figure out remedies...for all we know, we are constantly being re-exposed, just like the pet food incident...I welcome any thoughts...

researchers use the populace without their
knowledge. So, I would even be suspicious if
the government decided to take all those with
the symptoms "under its wing".
My speculation is that it is related to chemtrails
and to rearranging the biology of plants. I am
sure it is more complicated than that but I go
inside when the chemtrails are covering the sky.
I've even been stargazing and watched the planes
spraying at night crisscrossing a star-filled sky
until most of the stars were obscured.

Yes I briefly read something about the chemtrail theories, however I don't believe I have seen one--and least one I recognized, but then again, I don’t know a whole lot about it. I guess I didn’t look into this theory further because the morgellon’s outbreak was originally most reported in Florida, Texas and California and I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that chemtrails were executed everywhere so that didn’t make sense to me. But I will read up a bit more on that and be more observant at night—regardless if that is related to morgellon’s or not, I am sure that can’t be too good for our health so thanks for reminding me..
I want to believe first and foremost that most people have good intentions. But sadly, I have to admit that I have become more cynical after reading one story of corruption after another. Especially right now, I have a feeling that we citizens don’t know a fourth of what is really going on and that feeling gets stronger every time I open the newspaper…or read something like the HIV/ haemophiliac story that you sent; I believe the level of dishonesty has reached new heights and I am sure there are many more hidden agendas that do not serve the public well. I finally came to the conclusion that anything is possible right now which is a little scary.
I looked at the site that sells the topical cream, which I will keep in my files if I began to have trouble with the lesions again. Thank you for your kind and caring message, the links and your blessings… ps

This is a reply to # 879,729It is good that you have a background in microbiology. I have discovered a blood-borne fiber, just one type, which is not normal at all. It is about the same length in blood, but I cultured scalp debris, and have found many growing there. I first though it was a bacteria, but now I am thinking artificially created. It looks like a simple molecule-chain. It is quite large compared to red blood cells. There is no indication of life, but antibodies will attack non-viable ones. So, I think it has a short growth-span in blood. Still, it is quite disturbing, and there are other implications to this as well. Many of those who have this, seem to have a problem with "real parasites". Shroom

In my childhood, I remember being very interested in microbiology and geology but put aside that microscope until just recently when I started back to school, taking microbiology hoping that I could make a career change into the medical field; that's the extent of it, so my knowledge is very limited and certainly no where near what you know. But I found that I was still fascinated with it and as it turns out, has a newfound meaning for me…I don't know if it was coincidence or not that I took this class and then later found that I needed my own skills and slides for documentation and diagnosis purposes.
So I am eager to learn anything you have to teach me--I am wondering if you work in this field, or is it a hobby out of necessity?
I have not worked with blood samples, so I was wondering, is this a blood born fiber that you found in your own blood or someone else’s? You mentioned that this might be short lived in the blood because of immunity, however I have to wonder how significant this is with someone who has a compromised immune system. Do you think this is where the organism [for lack of a better term] originates? Your comment about, “people who have seen this, have a problem with 'real parasites”…, meaning that anyone who has this fiber infection has probable broken defenses toward other parasites? If that is what you meant, then I think I can give you an affirmative answer on that assumption with regards to myself. I have documented all the different stages of this 'organism', but mainly from external secretions of the skin, ears, etc. from the seed to cocoon, unraveling cocoon, individual fibers, tar-like substance and some stages I am not sure how to describe. But I have also discovered a few other organisms as well which I have identified, but would like this confirmed by a parasitologist or lab. I never thought of parasites coming from one’s skin, however I guess it is probable because tests came back saying I have liver phase I and II detoxification impairment.
Did I read somewhere that you found a parasitologist to work with? I would pay someone to confirm or refute what I have identified and was considering calling that reputable lab out in Arizona. This is so incredulous to me that I only spend a certain amount of time on this and then put it out of my mind so as not to get any more freaked out than I already am.

This is a reply to # 879,729Being an RN maybe this information will help. I have all the symtoms of morgellons. I was able to get one positive culture from a walk in, here the rub, they didn't do a sensitivity test on it so nothing they gave me for it worked. They could not get another positive culture on it. I tested positive for pseudomonas oryzihabitans. The fact that I had this was supress, it seems to me by the doctors. No one put it in my file. The walk-in sent me to the Dermo with the orginal copy. I lost that, I went to the walk-in for another copy they gave me a test result, that was taken by the Dermo a week before I went to the walk-in saying normal skin flora. No record of their results. To make a long story short, I was diagnosed with DOP, I am pretty sure. Here is how I found out what I had, I insisted on a MRSA culture, the doc at the walk-in tried to talk me out of it. Telling me my non-healing wound looked liked plumanary plack. The RN took the culture of my leg and the cotton swab went into a test tube with a medium. This is the only culture I had show up anything. I had not been on Antibiotics for a couple of weeks, when I had the culture, and all the other cultures were put in baggies and sent to the lab that way. I think if the sinus were cultured you would have a good shot of finding out. Some morgies have fibers that glow, there is a pseudomonas that does that.
The pseudomonas that I have is sprayed on orange trees, used in growing potatos, and other vegetables, I might have read it was used in cotton growing. There is a contection between pseudomonas and nematodes. The fact is we are being exposed all the time to God know what. I swear I have had the smallest fly, fly up my nose, how many havn't I noticed in the past? The nematode that ate the pseudomonas, that was sprayed by the chem-trail climbs in your foot when you walk outside barefoot to get the paper. You eat a potato all kinds of ways. Clean, clean, clean is my motto and don't go without shoes.
Myself the doctors just made me sicker when they would treat me, so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing because I am doing pretty good.

Thanks for the info--I do believe that some of what I am finding is from the nematode family...analytical in nature I find it interesting, but disturbing.

This is a reply to # 881,151I think you had hit profile and most of my old post will come up, although there was a crash here and three or four months of posts were lost. I find it ineresting that you were working on improving your Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and fibromyalgia, as I was doing the same when this became acute for me. I think the two are related.
As for what I am doing now to get rid of it. Prayer, Vit.C, hydro therapy which includes Epsom Salt baths, at least a third of a large bag in hot bath, I add lavender oil, I scrub my skin with a soft brush once or twice a week, followed by a cold shower. I go swimming in the ocean when possible, I also travel to a salt spring that is two hours away and soak in the spring, this has offered the most relief. I take organic blackstrap mollasses, extra vitimin Bs, A, MSM and drink plenty of water. Gentian voilet works really well on the lesions and rashes, however it is purple. My husband bought me the Becks, Sota pulser, ozonator, however I am still so toxic I couldn't take the detox, could hardly get out of bed. The pulser doubles a CS maker, I have been making my own Colloidal Silver and taking that helps heaps. I drink the ozonated water and use the ozonator to kill any thing that may be on my fruits and vegetables. I had issues with my liver as well, you might find a liver cleanse helpful. Oregon grape root and milk thistle is helpful for the liver. This stuff thrives on sugar, refined flour and stress. I have been on a kidney cleanse, drinking lemon and water and eatting very little a few raw veggies from the garden, I have passed what looked like liver stones while doing this, after doing EFT to myself. Oil pulling is also of great use, I brush my teeth, and inside of my mouth with soap after that. Alot of mine is in my mouth and sinuses, so far it hasn't reach my lungs. The laughter cure. I try not to dwell on it as what you think about happens. I take a few drops of luguls Iodine in a glass of water a few times a week, started with six drops a day, but have cut back now. I started growing some of my own vegetables and herbs, even a small amount of home grown veggies make a big difference in how I feel. The fresh herbs seem alot stronger than the dried ones at the health food store. Aloe Vera inside and out if you can get it. Sorry this is so long, even so I probably missed something. One more I thought of oil, this stuff hates oil, keep your skin well oiled, some of what I use castor bean oil, coconut, hemp and teatree. Tea Tree is highly recomended. I have studied traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) informally. I have spent over eight months in a TCM clinic watching a master treat patients. I also study on my own.
So I would like to say that even though you may not have overt symptoms of lung problems, this parasite may be in there. The reason according to TCM would be because according to their study of how the human body works (over 5000 years of experience and understanding) the lungs control the skin. Also all TCM organ descriptions say that each organ has an opening to the outside of the body. In the case of the lungs this is the nose (possibly the sinuses too, this is a question I need to ask the TCM master). So the parasites in your nose area might indicate that there may be some form of them in your lungs as well. In my own case the lung symptoms (except for an occasional dry cough) were not very obvious either, but recently my TCM practitioner started me on a new parasite formula (even special ordered one herb added to the formulas just for me). When I first started it I started to cough up some of this stuff from my lungs. The reason I feel that this problem is all over the body is because the parasite most likely exists in the lymph and blood systems in a more immature form. The spleen is most likely to harbor this stuff big time, spreading it into the lymph and blood systems.
One of the things to remember also is that in TCM the lung organ system is paired with the large intestine. The large intestine probably should not be overlooked as a major organ harboring what this is. I am planning to get some colon cleansing (colonics) done by a professional as even though I have done parasite cleanses and still use herbs every day to move my bowels I feel there may be some more stubborn critters hanging on in that area.
I do think that doing whatever possible to help the immune system become stronger is also important. You might look into medicinal mushrooms to see what you think. There are herbal formulas which might help too.
I do not know if you have seen my posts about getting this from eating fish in some posts just below. I personally will not get in ocean water now, as so much of it is polluted. I am not sure whether or not this could be caught just from bathing in infested ocean water--I am not saying it is a fact, but it could be a problem. I am also concerned about the pollution which now exists in most fresh waters as well. How do we know what lurks in the murky morasses created by so much dumping into once pristine waters. Anyway, just a mention as a possible problem at least in some areas.
I think it is great you are growing your own garden. I think doing whatever we can to get better is wonderful. Certainly eating as fresh as possible is a terrific idea IMHO.

You may be right it is quite possible, this is or was in my lungs. Now that you mentioned this I was having issues with my lungs and did a very powerful horse distemper remedy from the 1800's. After that, my lung issues went away and my skin went through so much unbelievable stuff. My large intestine has been a problem as well. That had bothered me long before I knew I had such a strange sickness. High Sugar was also a problem, it is like the chicken and the egg. The TMC face map has been most helpful, also old herbal potions. Foot detox pads(good ones) gave good results, along with oil pulling. Now I'm working on kidneys.
I read your post on fish, I used to work in the resturant industry, I will not eat out any more. My immune system was really weakened when I worked seventy hour weeks, and ate the food where I worked. Resturant food is not safe in my opinion. The ocean near where I live is still pretty clean, I seem to get worse when I am unable to bathe in the sea. It was when I had stopped swimming in the ocean that I came down with this.
I was listening to a comerical fisherman talk about how many time a fish was unthawed and refrozen before it gets to a resturant. Alot of fish are farmed raised for resturants as well. They are really toxic.
Thank you for the input, alot to think about. There is no easy way out.
