Dujour, thanks for sharing that story. A few years ago, I would get really tired in the afternoons, would have to literally crawl upstairs, and crash out on the bed for 1-2 hours. I was eating ok, maybe some soup, and a sandwich, sometimes Ryvitta and pate, but not a lot of meat, and I'd be starving later in the day. I got quite a surprise when we went to my Mum's house, and had dinner at lunch time, beef, vegs, and potatoes. I had a normal portion, but it filled me up for the rest of the day! I was not at all tired, and felt great! Ever since then (and this was before I read the blood-type diet), I've eaten more meat before the evening. Obviously not a full dinner, but it def. helps me too.
My sister who is also O, is a vegan, and has awful health problems. Her idea of protein is a few chickpeas, or lentils. I'm sure if she could eat meat, and less of these, she'd be a LOT better. She has fibromaralga, and has tried everything EXCEPT the blood-type diet, which she looked at briefly, and stated that as she was a strict vegan her blood-type must be A! (it isn't, but there's no telling some people is there?)
