Day 1
Much easier than the first time!
Date: 11/21/2006 7:58:59 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 2716 times What a difference this day 1 was. It just seemed rather normal; I wasn't particularly tired or hungry... I mean, there were a few spots where I was wishing I could eat but overall it wasn't as tortuous as my first day 1 the first time. I can only hope the rest of the time goes by like that one! Of course it won't; I'm sure I'll have a detox day here and there but it's encouraging to feel like it may very well be easier the second time around.
One thing I want to mention is I was on the toilet quite a bit; I'd say about 5 times thanks to the tea. Again this is alot different then what I experienced the first time. I had a tea before bed and found I needed to get up around 4am; this only happened to me the final few days of my first fast. Is it because I cleansed most of the gunk out the first time? It's only been about 4 months since I did this last... I guess this time actually will be a totally different experience.
Yesterday was so easy in part because my hubby was away all day on business so I didn't have to suffer through him making dinner or anything. I did end up taking a quick nap in the evening and eventually went to bed around 10 or 10:30 but didn't fall asleep until past 11; I think it was because I was looking forward to my hubby's return. :)
