Day 3 of break - back on track
A new day, new menu ideas

I went to work and I made myself a fresh OJ with oranges I bought on the way in. I had another before noon and kept my water up but it just wasn't moving.
I had the vegetable soup for lunch even though I wasn't hungry, and then about an hour later I decided to chew a piece of gum. It was utterly repulsive! Before the fast I probably went through a pack every two days easy, but now I can't stomach chewing one piece for more than 5 minutes. I can't say I'm too upset about that- I'm planning on limiting all that artificial sweetener crap anyway. I wasn't hungry the rest of the day either; I couldn't get that lump from my chest.
I got home and decided to make a salad from a recipe I saw on a vegan site. It was pretty good- I plan on incorporating more raw food meals, but not 100%. After that I enjoyed some blueberries and raspberries for dessert. Everything simple has taken on new life and is just simply... delicious.
I settled on the couch for a while and around 8 went for a bikeride; I can't do my 20km ride yet, and I'm certainly not keeping the pace I used to but I rode good today! I might've gotten in a 15km ride, but I didn't look at my spedometer or watch to track my time; I intentionally left everything off so I wouldn't be tempted to "go for time". I'm pathetically fueled by my own desire to keep beating my own time each time I go out. ;)
So right now I've settled back on the couch, water in hand and a couple peaches at my side. Summer is great, isn't it? The lump seems to be moving on and I think I say say I feel pretty good now; finally.
