Day 1 of break - with a weigh in
More weight lost than expected, yikes
Date: 7/15/2006 10:46:44 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 4624 times I must be an exception because the scale showed a 10-11 pound loss this morning, which for me is a huge difference. I'm 5' 3" and started out at 121-122 and the scale was showing a solid 111; holy cow. I think if I can stabilize at 115 that would be terrific but I'm a little astonished at that number, and I've been getting the impression most people are experiencing a 6 or 8 pound loss.
Regardless, I once again woke up at 4:30 with a BM from the tea the night before, and after I got back into bed instead of getting up for work (oooh yesss) I slept like a baby! I slept in until 9:30... I tried to sleep as long as I could. Right now it's approaching noon and my BF and I are going to some second hand shops to grab some new stuffed animals for the dogs, so I'll look at getting some better fitting clothes as well, even if it's only for a couple weeks. My work clothes were loose to begin with but now they're hanging, and all I really need are a pair of pants and maybe a shirt or two since I'm not counting on staying at 111 for very long.
I already had a beautiful fresh squeezed orange juice and I have another chilling in the fridge for me to grab and go. I did cut them with a little water though. No ill effects yet, and to be honest I was a little sad at the fact it was over, but that was overshadowed by the fact I was done- and successful. I'll have to wait until tomorrow night for the vegetable broth but that's ok; I'm doing this by the book and I've come this far. :)
And I feel pretty good today! Lately I've been wondering if I'll go back to automatically grabbing a coffee at Tim Horton's each morning before work- I wonder if I could use the 10 minutes I'd be waiting in line to instead jump on the treadmill before work. That will be my goal for Monday and we'll see how it goes; I want to wake up my metabolism and I think a nice little sprint in the morning will be beneficial.
