Day 4

A very long day... very long. And smellerifous.

I woke up in pretty much the same fashion as Day 3; a bit weak. Most of my bursts of energy come later in the evening unless I coax myself into actually doing something; otherwise I could relax and take it easy all day, but that makes for a very long day, especially being home on the weekend.

I thought I would do the SWF this morning, but my BF got up early and we decided to go and check out some yard sales. I grabbed an empty water bottle and filled it with freshly made lemonade. I'm squeezing my lemons as I go as I've read it's more effective that way. We yard saled for about 2 hours, and we had to come home because I had a hair appointment at 11am. There was no way I was doing a SWF before going to my appointment.

Getting my hair cut was great; it had been about a year. I let my air grow out well past the middle of my back so the extra dry ends cut off really lifted my spirits! I wanted to go shopping after that (LOL) but I'm trying to save money... so I grudgingly went back home.

Almost as soon as I got home I ran to the bathroom. I was off and on for about 2 hours; I didn't dare go anywhere until I was sure I would be ok! Maybe the lax teas were working... maybe I'm one of those people that don't need to do the SWF as I've always been regular, thanks to a good diet. Bran and water is pretty much all you need. ;) Obviously I'm still afraid to do the SWF. :(

I also had a short fuse today; I lost my temper once in the morning while we were looking at a map to determine the next garage sale. The second time was when my BF made a bag of microwave popcorn before we watched a movie in the evening. I was upset he would make something that smelled so good when I was trying to get through this fast. He laughed at first which really made me angry, and I asked him why he didn't just grab some chips or something... he love Doritos too. (yeah, his diet is pretty terrible and he's probably 30 pounds overweight, but I'm not here to try to bend him to my diet beliefs) Anyway, I made it through the movie and popcorn, had a lax tea and set off for bed.

I also notice I'm picking up smells alot better. We live in a smaller house with two big dogs and the smell of the couch was driving me nuts. I had to wash it, so I did. It's the couch I share with the dogs most nights to watch a bit of TV; crowded yes, but still. It's so much better now, except ugh, I need to wash the other one too. It's disgusting. We've been looking for new couches for a while and I think this will make me want to get them sooner.

And to get couch covers so I can wash them every week instead of trying to wash a couch. ;)

I made it through a difficult Day 4. It was a hard day today, for sure. I keep thinking about how far I've come but I can't stop thinking about how far I have to go and I keep asking myself if this is the right thing to do. But I think I've come too far to just throw it away; I want to see this through. Today was a tough day... I wonder how C is doing?
