Day 3
Away from home
Date: 3/23/2006 7:28:09 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 1844 times Mid week is my usual travel day to the office so I had to bring my fasting tools on the road. I did my usual morning herbal prep consisting of tea, olive leaf, and lobelia/mullein tincture (1 dropper full in tea). I then made my half pint of OJ topped off with distilled water and put it in a plastic to-go jug. I also brought some Dewormer and BF&C with me to take later.
I still had no hunger pains most of the day and work went relatively smoothly. At Noon I drank my portable OJ lunch drink and popped a few BF&C capsules for a pain preventative. I also took a swig of the Dewormer (I think its good to take this during fasting for the high potassium content, and worms don't have much of a chance in a fasting body - hee hee).
No aches or pains today. No headaches. Seeme like the day just flew! I had a meeting late with my team, and before I knew I knew it, it was 5pm. By this time I did start to feel rather hungry. These were the 1st hunger pains I had since Day 1. I suspect it had a lot to do with not having my herbals teas and Sorghum handy. I wrapped up work by 6pm and headed home (its a 1.5 hr drive).
By the time I got home I was rather grumpy and quite hungry. So I immediately cracked into the Sorghum and made some Hawthorne Berry tea. 2 Tablespoons of the Sorghum provided intant relief and I then follwed it up with 2 cups of the Hawthorne. I like this tea a lot. I make it strong by buying the berries whole then taking a coffee grinder to them. They end up quite fine but it makes a thick syrup type tea. I also drank some distilled water with a teaspoon of sea salt for some electrolytes.
The rest of the evening I spent working on our living room. The is a beast project. Its going so slow and is such an interruption in our lives. I have to get it done asap. By 9pm I realized I forgot to have my dinner so I made a quick batch of squeezed OJ, and added the water. I drank it down swiftly and headed up to bed. I still had energy so I watched some TV. Eventually I went to sleep. Day 3 complete!
