Monday, April 18
As you know from my last post, I was sick for about three days last week with a bad cold. I am sure that it was not a healing crisis, but was bad timing and poor judgement on my part. I walked past a hacking woman at the grocery store. The next evening, when I felt the beginnings of the illness (sore throat), I swabbed both of my ear canals with 3% hydrogen peroxide and drank 2 grams of vitamin C powder (Emergen-C). The next morning my throat was extremely sore mainly down the right side, so I took 3 drops of 35% food grade H2O2 in water, had more vitamin C, and went back to sleep for 3 hours. When I woke up, I felt well enough to get up, so I had a hot bath and a hydrogen peroxide enema. Then I felt worse, so I had some cold & flu medicine with fresh squeezed lemon and went back to bed for the rest of the day. I stayed in bed all the next day, too, only drinking vitamin C, vegetarian chicken broth with sea salt, and two more doses of cold and flu, plus water. I slept more than I was awake. But this morning, I awoke feeling well enough to go about my usual household chores, plus do weeding in my garden and some extra organizing around the house. I am almost normal today. This is going to be a GREAT week!!!!
Since I was sick, I totally got off of my protocol for three days. I will resume that this week, except that I will slowly diminish my vitamin C and discontinue it completely four days before my appointment. I will try to exercise a little more, but I went for a short walk just before my illness, and I am still exhibiting some symptoms of congestive heart failure (which I forgot to mention on my symptoms post page). So, I may not increase my activity level too much at this late date. I certainly don't want to complicate things...
I'll check in again later...

I'm still excited about my upcoming trip to Mexico, even though I developed a stuffed nose yesterday and got a scratchy throat today. It's almost as if I'm not quite over my cold or am "redeveloping" it. I didn't get all the sleep I needed yesterday morning. My husband made me get up. So that could be part of the reason. I started my protocol again yesterday, and amazingly, one day after drinking my wheatgrass shake, I had my easy bowel movement. I am simply amazed at how well this shake works for getting my bowels to work properly. Actually, at one other time in my life, my bowels worked properly, even with a horrid diet. It was when I was a long-distance runner many, many years ago, before my car accident. My life has been pretty much sedentary since then, much of the time of necessity. And because I didn't work harder to keep my heart healthy, I am paying the price with developing congestive heart failure. I hope I can turn this thing around. Surely it is not too late... Being with God's people tonight certainly lifted my spirits and made my heart much lighter! How thankful I am for my precious Christian family!!
Thursday morning, April 21
I woke up this morning with a burning, scratchy throat--still!!--and mucus pouring from my sinuses down the back of my throat. I am also discharging an orangish-tinged mucus from my vagina. I sat in my bathroom and cried. I'm hoping that this is my body detoxing trash. I'll just go ahead and continue with my protocol, maybe try a hydrogen peroxide douche. I might even spray a dilute solution into my nose, if I can find a spray bottle. I'll be increasing my intake of fresh minced garlic from one clove to three today. I guess I'd better go have the first one for breakfast now! This is still a GREAT week, no matter how sick or symptomatic I get, because it's the last week of my life that I will EVER have mercury amalgams in my head!!!!!!!
